Bagan
Bagan is one of Myanmar’s top attractions, as the “Bagan Archaeological Zone”, far from 26-sq-miles area 118 miles south of Mandalay and 429 miles north of Yangon. Bagan is about 200f above sea level. Bagan and the whole central Myanmar supposed as a semi desert. Life of the people in dry region is not like the people where weather is clean and grass is green. So to be green and clean, the residents grew the trees in Bagan and its environment. Instead of calling Bagan as “ the Pagoda forest” just “the land of the poem composed by the bricks and stucco in the green forests”. The rainy weather that makes the impact on the beauty and glory of Bagan.
The monuments in Bagan can be into two types; temples and pagodas. Simply, a temple is hollow building containing seated or standing Buddha image or images in the center. The best views of Bagan are to be seen from the top of large temples. But some of these monuments such as Shwesandaw Pagoda, and a few others are climbable.
